Stupid People Abound

(Friday 27 February 2015) by Rick Clot
Today's blog will give you an inside look at my dark side. Fortunately, this side of me doesn't expose itself all that often but every once in awhile it rears it's ugly head. Yesterday was one of those times. I helped some friends of ours move into a new house. Cute place, a little smaller than what they had. An attempt to downsize which is what a lot of us do eventually. Anyway, my friend had five guys all with pickups and SUVs helping to move boxes and small stuff. We loaded up all the cars and went to the new house to unload. Naturally we were parked up and down the street on both sides. Well apparently a lady across the street and down a house or two made it known that she didn't want anybody blocking her driveway. Perfectly understandable. But when I was asked to move my car it didn't sit well since I was at least 8' from the edge of her drive. So I did the only thing I could under the circumstances. Recalling the immortal words of someone who once said, "I don't get mad, I get even" I proceeded to use her driveway to turn my car around and then turned my wheels back and forth a few times leaving black tire marks on the drive. Surprisingly, I found the need to turn around not once but twice. What a coincidence. Here's how I look at it. A) It's just plain stupid to do stupid stuff like this stupid lady did. She was being a stupid moron and it doesn't promote good neighborly relations and B) I can't handle stupid anymore.

Until Next Time,
Waiting for my blood pressure to ebb,
Rick
