Change is the Name of the Game

(Monday 25 May 2015) by Rick Clot
OK, let's see what has been happening the last couple of weeks. We ate dinner at home tonight which was a pleasant change of pace. We made a surprisingly delicious cut of round steak cooked into a London broil and accompanied by sliced baked potatoes smothered in melted butter. But I digress. Anyway. I told my wife that one of the guys who goes to breakfast with our group once a week was telling us about his Pilates class he attends. I, jokingly, asked him if anyone comes in with an eye patch, a peg leg and a parrot on his shoulder thinking the sign out front said pirates. No one at our breakfast table seemed to understand my sense of humor. Somehow a joke loses what little humor it has when you need to explain the punch line. Oh well, moving on. After dinner tonight I thought it would be fun if Sandy and I jumped into the golf cart and zipped over to DQ, sit outside and share a banana split dessert enjoying a beautiful Phoenix evening. Then it changed to an ice cream cone at McDonald's. Then it changed to taking the car and going to the drive through. Then it changed to bringing it home. Someday I'll get a chance to do what I want to do.

Until Next Time,
Where did I go wrong,
