Back To Phoenix Day #3

(Wednesday 27 July 2016) by Rick Clot
Our last night on the road was spent in a Fairfield Inn in Gallup, NM. The room cost me $129.00 for the night which I thought was a little pricey. It was your average, run of the mill hotel, nothing special and the only reason why I think they charged $129.00 was because it was located on old Rte. 66. I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with the city of Gallup since I really don't think Gallup is a hotbed of entertainment. And the hotel was nothing to brag about. Oh it was OK but I was disappointed in a few minor things. The pool and elevator had an odor, not overly offensive but just odd smelling. The desk clerk had no idea how to use the Wi-Fi. There were no hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang your clothes when taking a shower and the wait staff in the breakfast area was not very friendly. None of these on their own merits would prevent me from staying there again but collectively it might change my opinion. Anyway, it was only for one night.

Until Next Time,
Home tomorrow,
