A Country Full of Whack Jobs

(Sunday 22 January 2017) by Rick Clot
Well the election is over. Donald Trump is our new President and it's obvious from watching and listening to the news reports that many people across this country are not happy with the outcome. There's protests, there's rioting, people breaking windows and starting fires. It's absolutely amazing the number of whacked out people there are in this country who think this is acceptable behavior. There were a lot of people, myself included, who weren't happy when Obama got elected in 2008 and again in 2012 but we survived. I'm sure we'll survive four years of a Trump presidency. People seem to be upset thinking that four years of Trump will threaten their way of life and that we'll see policies being implemented that will significantly impact them personally. If we can survive Obama's healthcare initiative we should be able to handle anything. For me, well I'm just scratching my head in total wonderment at the number of people who actually feel threatened. Maybe they're just pissed off that their candidate lost and they didn't even get a participation trophy out of it. Snowflakes, cupcakes, whiners - all good descriptions of these crybabies.

Until Next Time,
Still curious in Surprise,
