Staying Busy

(Monday 2 April 2018) by Rick Clot
Well it's been over a month since my last blog. Let's see what has been happening during that time.
* Our softball team is 12-3 and in first place by three games with four to play. At the risk of putting a hex on the team I'd say we are in a pretty good spot to win it all.
* The airport shuttle business has been keeping me hopping. During the first three months of 2016 I did 27 runs to the airport. In the same time in 2017 I did 50 runs and this year I've done 210. Crazy busy!
* We're getting ready to go back to Chicago in a few days to help some friends celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. We'll be there six days and hope to see our son and his family for more than a few minutes although I'm not holding out much hope.
* I need to get my car in to the shop to repair a broken door latch. The rear door won't close. It's pretty tough to run an airport shuttle business when you run the risk of losing a passenger with every left turn you make.
OK, so there you have it. I'm sure there have been more things worthy of print here but in the interest of time and space limitations I'll continue this at a later date.

Until Next Time,
Staying busy in Surprise,
